A nitro rock buggy thing? I’ve never heard of that before. Seems silly considering electric motors are already winning in the torque department as well as the not-cutting-off-and-spilling-fluid-and-catching-fire-when-flipping-over area.

But I see that it appears to have actual differentials with actual gears, so that’s pretty neat. I’m sure that’s not uncommon for higher-end RC, though. I just have a Traxxas and an HPI, neither of which cost more than $250 new.

Even if I could’ve fixed them I wasn’t even allowed to attempt to repair Redcat stuff when they came into our shop. Someimes the plastic moulds were so bad that they had to be bent just to fit into place.

They make, or used to make, a nitro-powered R/C snowcat. Pretty cool.
